This years WWDC seems to become one of the more exciting ones. There are many possible rumors floating around. Here are my guesses:
iOS:
- iOS 6, beta available monday evening
- Facebook-Integration
- Maps by Apple
- something about Siri (hopefully all the US-features for europe at least)
- FaceTime over 3G
iCloud:
- Photo Sharing
- Reminder
- Notes
Apple TV:
- SDK for Apps for Apple TV
OS X:
- Mountain Lion Demo with release date sometimes between June and August
- Voice Dictation
- additional small features, but nothing big
Mac Hardware:
- MacBook Pro 15″ with Retina Display
- no new MacBook line, which is better (retina, accu, weight) and costs equal
- 17″ MBP retired
- MacBook Air 11″ and 13″ with Retina Display
- Mac Pro
- iMac (maybe just a spec bump without a mention during the keynote)
I don’t know how, they name their new retina MacBook, but there will bei no new line. A new line of notebooks which are this equal to the “old” line just doesn’t make sense. Especially for Apple. I think the iOS, iCloud and Mountain Lion parts are set. But I fear the Apple TV SDK is just wishful thinking. 🙁
